AIMCW organised an activity for Human Value Quarter on the topic “INEQUALITY IN NATURE AND SOCIETY” on 03 March, 2022. Four videos were screened in the L-2, Room no. 102, where about 20 students participated along with all the faculty members, with great enthusiasm and fascination for the vidoes screening. Gp Capt A.S Verma coordinated the event assisted by Ms Avantika Johri.
The video screening was held with the motive of drawing the attention of the students towards the biases, discriminations and challenges that are there in front of them at the levels of individual, family, society and nature. The students were engaged with a short introduction on the human values by Gp Capt A.S Verma.
The screening began with the video clips. After the successful screening, Gp Capt A.S Verma began the discussion by asking everyone their opinions about it. The video clip received positive feedback, many were able to see beyond the surface storyline and actually search for deeper meanings that certain symbols in the video represented. Students volunteered to share their views on the shown videos.
Towards the end of activity, an interactive session based on video clips shown was conducted with the students by the volunteers and feedback on the clips was received. The students were appreciative of the event and participated actively.
