Dr Payal Vidhuri

Dr Payal Vidhuri, Assistant Professor I, ANO/Care Taker, NCC

Dr. Payal Vidhuri is currently an Assistant Professor at the Amity Indian Military College for Women (AIMCW), Amity University, Uttar Pradesh, Noida. She also serves as the ANO and CTO of the National Cadet Corps at AIMCW. She has taught at Delhi University and Ambedkar University Delhi previously. She has taught Political Science at Delhi University for over 5 years and has taught at Mata Sundri College for Women and Zakir Husain Delhi College (Morning). She has taught courses on Political Theory, Public Administration in India, and Western Political Thought etc. At Ambedkar University she has taught the graduate students the courses of Studying Human Society and Global Humans: Imagination, Circulation and Display. She has been actively working on Sanitation Workers. She has been awarded her Ph.D. entitled, “Health Services and Policies for Women Sanitation Workers in Delhi, 2008-2018 from Centre for Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy, SSS, JNU. She has been awarded her M.Phil. entitled, “Interlocked Nature of Caste and Occupation: An Analysis of Balmiki Community in Delhi” from JNU. She has published many research papers and chapters in reputed journals and presented them at several national and international conferences. Her research interest includes Caste, Gender and Policies.

Dr Apeksha Gandotra, Assistant Professor I

Dr. Apeksha Gandotra is working as an Assistant Professor of History at Amity Indian Military College for Women (AIMCW), Amity University, Noida. She has obtained her PhD in Medieval Indian History on the topic “Revisiting the Saga of Jodha Akbar- A Timeless Riddle” from Amity University, Noida. She has completed her Graduation, Masters and MPhil in History from University of Delhi. She is UGC-NET qualified and has authored/contributed chapters in various books related to medieval Indian history, socio-cultural themes, women studies and gender in recent years and many of her research articles are published in Scopus/UGC publications in various journals.

Brig. Arjan Dutta

He is a qualified Interviewing Officer, trained by the Defence Institute of Psychological Research in Delhi. Throughout his distinguished career, he has served as both President and Deputy President of the Services Selection Board (SSB) and has held the position of Deputy Director General for a recruitment zone.

In addition to his extensive military background, he currently serves as the Director of the Amity SSB Academy and as Joint Director of the Amity Institute of Leadership and Communication. He also holds the position of Officer Incharge for the Senior Division NCC for girls at Amity University, Uttar Pradesh.

Dr. Pawan Kumar, Assistant Professor – I, AIMCW

Dr. Pawan Kumar is an Assistant Professor of Political Science, Amity Indian Military College for Women (AIMCW), Amity University, Uttar Pradesh, Noida. He previously taught politics at the department of Political Science, SRM University, Delhi-NCR, Sonipat Haryana. He also worked as an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Law School, Crescent University, Chennai. He was an Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) full-time doctoral fellow at the Centre for Gandhian Thought and Peace Studies, School of Social Sciences, Central University of Gujarat, Gandhinagar. He has been awarded his Ph.D. entitled, “M. K. Gandhi, Democracy, Natural Resources: A Case Study of Water Resources of Kanpur”. He has been awarded his M. Phil. entitled, “Development Planning Discourse: A Critical Analysis of Economic Thought on Colonial India”. He has published articles in reputed journals such as Economic and Political Weekly and Indian Journal of Public Administration. His research interest includes political theory, political thought, and environmentalism and AI and Politics.

Dr. Deepti Sharma, Assistant Professor

pursued her Ph.D. (Life Sciences) from Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences, Delhi. The topic of her work entitled “Experimental efficacy and safety studies of ethyl pyruvate in radiation burn and excision wound models,”. She holds Masters degree in Biosciences from the Department of Biosciences, Jamia Millia Islamia. She pursued B.Sc. (H) biomedical Sciences from University of Delhi. She taught Biostatistics to MBA students at Jamia Millia Islamia as a visiting faculty. She is also a registered Indian Patent Agent and trained in patent searching, drafting and prosecution from Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. She has published many research papers and book chapters in reputed journals and presented in several national and international conferences. Besides, she holds two patents from her Ph.D. work.

Col. A.K. Pandey

He is a qualified Group Testing Officer trained by the Defence Institute of Psychological Research, Delhi and has served in Services Selection Board. He is the Assistant Director of Amity Institute of Leadership and Communication and Amity SSB Academy which prepares candidates for taking up career in the Armed Forces and Central Police Force as Officers.

Gp. Capt. A.S. Verma

He has been a Psychologist at Air Force selection Board at Mysore and Varanasi. He has also been joint secretary at Head Quarter, CBSE, Delhi. He is now serving as a Psychologist in Amity SSB Academy and helping students to join Indian Armed Forces as officers.
